ATLANTA — The FBI’s recent search of Fulton County’s election offices has once again placed Georgia’s 2020 election under the national spotlight — and injected the issue into the heart of the state’s 2026 midterm races.

On Tuesday, the affidavit federal agents used to obtain a magistrate judge’s sign-off on the search was unsealed in federal court.

The search was welcomed by some and condemned by others, including Fulton County Commission Chairman Robb Pitts.
