Michael Patrick King will be honored at next month’s Human Rights Campaign dinner in Los Angeles.
The writer, producer and director of Sex and the City and its follow up And Just Like That will receive HRC’s Visibility Award “for his work uplifting LGBTQ+ stories on screen and bringing visibility for the LGBTQ+ community in the entertainment world,” according to the organization. King also is the co-creator, director and producer of The Comeback, which is returning in March on HBO.
The event will take place at the Fairmont Century Plaza on March 28.
