The NWS said the tornado that moved through Lake Village, Indiana, killed two residents and is preliminarily determined to be an EF-3.
NEWTON COUNTY, Ind. — Around 7 p.m. Tuesday evening, March 10, Veronica Price was at work as storms rolled into the Lake Village area. She was on the phone with her mom, who was at home.
“It got real quiet. It was like 70, and then the hail started, and then the rain started, and then the wind took off,” Price said. “I was like, ‘Are you in the bathroom now? Yes, OK.’”
