Father of 2 killed by fallen tree in Virginia

Elik Topolosky’s family is focused on grieving properly for now, but eventually want to see what can be done to save others from this same tragedy.

FREDERICK, Md. — A 39-year-old man from Frederick, Maryland was killed when a tree fell onto his car while driving on George Washington Memorial Parkway, according to his family. The man was identified as Elik Topolosky, a husband and father of two young children.

Family members said the crash happened Thursday morning as Topolosky was driving south on the parkway when a tree suddenly fell onto his car.
