LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two former Louisville police officers charged in the Breonna Taylor case have had their federal case dismissed.
On Friday, U.S. District Court Judge Charles Simpson III approved the Department of Justice’s motion to dismiss criminal charges against Joshua Jaynes and Kyle Meany with prejudice.
Jaynes and Meany were accused of falsifying information in the warrant used in the botched raid at Taylor’s apartment in March 2020.
