POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. — First responders are on the scene of a house fire in Powder Springs on Friday afternoon.
Powder Springs Police shared photos on Facebook and asked the community to avoid the area of Flowering Branch and Lilac Springs Drive. Officers said Cobb County Fire was on scene, working to put out the fire.
Photos showed fire crews outside a damaged home.
In the meantime, drivers in the area are being asked to consider alternate routes
