ATLANTA — The smoky haze and burn smell outside across metro Atlanta on Wednesday is coming from extensive wildfires in south Georgia, with Fulton County EMA recommending residents who are sensitive to such conditions limit their time outdoors.
Some of 11Alive’s webcams most notably show the hazy conditions in Decatur and Midtown Atlanta (see link here). Several reports and social media posts have come in Wednesday morning about the conditions.
