Metro Atlanta counties issue burn bans due to drought conditions, fire risk

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — Several metro Atlanta and north Georgia counties are hoping burn bans will mitigate the risk of potential fires as south Georgia crews continue to battle raging wildfires.
