With two months to go before the primary, former Del. Vanessa Atterbeary (D-Howard) hit the airwaves on Thursday with her first television ad in the Howard County executive race.
Atterbeary, who served for more than a decade in the General Assembly, touted her record opposing book bans, and supporting gun control measures. She cast herself as a county executive who would oppose the policies of President Donald Trump (R).
“Trump’s fascist agenda is threatening our rights, our federal workers and our future,” she said in the ad.
