BRANTLEY COUNTY, Ga. — A massive wildfire tearing through Brantley County has destroyed many homes and businesses, leaving owners like Jesse Morgan and Ginger Hunter facing unimaginable losses.
Outside Morgan Automotive along Highway 82 near Atkinson you could see charred school buses with shattered windows and hot spots still smoldering in the background.
Morgan, who bought the property at 19 and opened Morgan Automotive Repair in 1996, said he’s handled wrecks and trauma over nearly three decades in business.
