The New York Knicks may have seized early momentum in a must-win Game 4, but a concerning injury to Jalen Brunson quickly cast a shadow over their night.
Brunson appeared to tweak his left ankle during a loose-ball scramble in the third quarter against the Atlanta Hawks, forcing the All-Star guard to leave the game and head to the locker room.
“Alvarado comes in for Brunson — looks like ankle again — and he heads straight to the locker room,” Newsday’s Steve Popper reported on X.
