Louisiana restaurant under investigation after deer roadkill found in freezer with other food, police say

A Louisiana restaurant is under investigation by multiple agencies after police discovered a deer carcass stored alongside customer food.

PINEVILLE, La. — A viral video on social media allegedly showing employees of a Louisiana restaurant skinning a deer prompted police to investigate.

The Pineville Police Department said in a press release they were called to the restaurant April 21 after getting a complaint that an employee “was seen skinning a dead animal” behind the building. 

Officers on scene found evidence to show the animal was a deer, which had allegedly been found on the side
