SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — After about six months of recovery, an officer hit by a motorcycle traveling more than 100 miles per hour is sharing what happened on the night he was injured.

Around 10:30 p.m. on the night of Sept. 20, officers said Citta was hit by a motorcyclist who was allegedly driving under the influence. The crash happened on GA-400 northbound past Hammond Drive.
