STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — A tire shop in DeKalb County is considered a total loss after a large fire early Wednesday morning caused part of the building to collapse, according to DeKalb County Fire and Rescue.
Fire crews responded to the blaze along Rockbridge Road in Stone Mountain, where officials said heavy smoke was coming from a building that housed a tire shop.
Authorities later confirmed the roof collapsed during the incident. Crews remained on scene working to extinguish hotspots as smoke continued to smolder from the building.
