TACOMA, Wash. — Four students and an adult security guard were taken to the hospital after a reported stabbing at Tacoma’s Foss High School, according to the Tacoma Fire Department (TFD) and Tacoma Police Department (TPD).
Fire crews and police were called out to Foss High just before 1:40 p.m. on reports of an altercation or a possible stabbing.
When firefighters arrived, they found five victims—four students and a security guard—and transported them to local hospitals.
The suspect was taken into custody and also taken to a hospital, according to police.
TPD said the suspect is a student.
