HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A school behavioral specialist faces a felony charge after a student with autism died following an incident at a school in Cypress, near Houston, according to Harris County court records.

Donald Cameron Perkins is in custody and is scheduled to appear before a Harris County judge on Friday. He faces a charge of felony injury to a disabled child.
