Henry County names Kevin Johnson as Interim County Manager amid leadership changes and financial oversight shifts, as the county addresses financial management issue
HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — The Henry County Board of Commissioners has announced a leadership change in its county government, effective immediately, ending the tenure of County Manager Cheri Matthews.
Additionally, according to a county statement, the county’s financial services functions would be transferred to the Board of Commissioners “for administrative and operational oversight.”
Deputy County Manager Kevin Johnson was named as Interim County Manager, effective immediately.
