Recall: Crème brûlée sold at ALDI may contain glass shards

The dessert is packaged in a glass jar, and the recall says it might “contain foreign objects, specifically glass.”

WASHINGTON — More than 2,000 cases of desserts sold at ALDI stores in seven states have been recalled because glass might be inside the containers.

The recall, initiated by Lactalis Canada, Inc. on April 14, impacts 2,869 cases of Specially Selected crème brûlée sold at ALDI stores in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New York and Virginia.
