Every Brilliant Thing, the Tony-nominated revival featuring Daniel Radcliffe (and soon to star Mariska Hargitay in her Broadway debut), has recouped its $5.75 million capitalization, producers announced today.
Producers Second Half Productions, Seaview, and Gavin Kalin Productions said the recoupment came with the performance week ending on May 3. (The solo show grossed $1,718,476 that week.) Every Brilliant Thing, written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe and directed by Jeremy Herrin, has been among Broadway’s top grossing plays since previews began at the Hudson Theatre February 21 (official opening was March 12).
