Athens-Clarke County Police said Friday that a 22-year-old is in custody and charged with murder in the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy.
ATHENS, Ga. — A 17-year-old was killed and an 18-year-old was injured and hospitalized in a shooting incident early Friday in Athens, police said.
According to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, officers responded a little before 6 a.m. to a call of gunshots in the area of Rowe Road. Around that same time, two victims showed up to a hospital with gunshot wounds.
