UNION CITY, Ga. — The pedestrian killed after being hit by a train in Union City has been identified as an 18-year-old.
Union City Police said the incident happened around 7:40 a.m. on May 5 near the area of Westbrook Place and State Route 14.
The Georgia State Patrol said the pedestrian was on the railroad tracks, facing south, as a train traveled south on the rail line.
