‘Adolescence’ Makes BAFTA History By Scooping Record Number Of TV Awards

Adolescence‘s sensational awards season has ended in a final night of triumph at the BAFTA TV Awards.

Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne’s series about a teenager radicalized by the manosphere won four awards at the BAFTA ceremony on Sunday night.

Graham won Best Leading Actor, his first-ever BAFTA acting prize, while Owen Cooper and Christine Tremarco took home Supporting Actor prizes.

Adolescence also won best Limited Drama, with executive producer Mark Herbert thanking Graham and Thorne for a script that “ripped out our hearts and punched us in the gut.”
