Atlanta is the top summer travel destination in the country, according to a new study from personal finance website WalletHub.
The study ranked the Atlanta metro area No. 1 among 100 of the nation’s largest metro areas for summer travel. Researchers looked at travel costs and hassles, local costs, attractions, weather, activities and safety to create the rankings. (Augusta, Ga., ranks No. 23.)
