Boil water advisory in place after water main break along Fayetteville roadway

City officials said water quality tests are being done.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. — A boil water advisory is now in place following a water main break in Fayetteville.

On Tuesday, city officials closed Grady Avenue near the Glynn Street South intersection due to the issue. Officials said a contractor ruptured the water main under the street. 

The water main break also caused flooding and damage on the roadway.
