INDIANAPOLIS — Not only will Katherine Legge attempt to race in her fifth Indianapolis 500 on May 24, she plans to take a shot at auto racing history.
The veteran driver is aiming to become the first woman to complete “The Double” — racing at the Indianapolis 500 in the afternoon before taking on NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the evening.
