Brookhaven Police arrest teacher, pre-school director facing charges in child cruelty case

A Brookhaven police detective began investigating on May 4 after information surfaced during a separate investigation originally reported April 1, police said.

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. — Brookhaven police arrested a lead teacher and the director of a Brookhaven preschool in connection with multiple allegations of child cruelty involving young children in their care, the Brookhaven Police Department announced May 14.
