According to ESPN’s Nate Taylor, Fields has now been tabbed as the backup signal-caller to MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes. After a disappointing stint with the New York Jets, which was more about the team than it was about Fields, the former first-round pick sits in a good spot on a contending team.
