“Who’s got a bump?”
That was Club Kid director Jordan Firstman joking in the emotional moments after the film received a seven-minute standing ovation after its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
It was an appropriately jocular sentiment, given the film seems to be the first to really juice up an audience here in Cannes. There were lots of big laughs.
During the ovation, lead actress Cara Delevingne teared up. Firstman, who also wrote and stars, picked up costar Reggie Absolom and started a chant with his name. It was a continuation of the hijinks
