SEARSMONT, Maine — An explosion at Robbins Lumber in Searsmont on Friday morning sent at least 11 people to hospitals, including at least one patient reported in critical condition.
All employees at the mill have been accounted for, according to Catherine Robbins-Halstead, a co-owner and vice president of admin at Robbins Lumber.
“Buildings can be replaced, people cannot,” Robbins-Halsted told reporters at the scene Friday.
