WASHINGTON — A California-based organic ice cream maker has voluntarily recalled several flavors of ice cream in 17 states due to potential metal fragments.
Straus Family Creamery issued the recall on Thursday. The company said it has informed the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and is working with retailers to remove the potentially affected products from shelves.
No injuries have been reported, the company said in a news release.
