HELEN, Ga. — A police chief in Helen struck a pedestrian while responding to a burglary call, the Georgia State Patrol says.
The incident took place on the night of May 15 at 8:50 p.m.
According to a GSP trooper who responded to the scene, the police chief, who had her emergency lights and sirens on, was responding to a call as a backup officer.
