LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – The NAACP Kentucky State Conference condemned a political advertisement discussing DEI released by Rep. Andy Barr, who is running for U.S. Senate.
In his ad, Barr referred to DEI, which stands for “diversity, equity and inclusion,” as “dumb, evil, indoctrination.” The NAACP Kentucky State Conference says the ad uses “dangerous” comments to place a negative, political spin on marginalized and underrepresented communities.
