EXCLUSIVE: Indie studio Media Res (The Morning Show, Pachinko) has promoted Christina Malach to President of Scripted Series. Reporting to CEO and founder Michael Ellenberg, she will oversee the studio’s current and upcoming slate. Malach replaces Lindsey Springer who is stepping down after six years as President of Scripted. She will continue to produce with the company.
Since joining Media Res in 2023 as SVP Development, Malach has overseen development of the recently ordered Netflix series Enigma Variations from AK Shuman starring Aaron Taylor Johnon as well as The Miniature Wife starring Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen, which recently premiered
