ATLANTA — Major flooding has caused a dramatic slowdown on the Downtown Connector in Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon.
Significant standing water has built up on I-75/I-85 northbound and southbound near Baker Street as multiple cars were passing through the flood waters.
A white sedan that most recently drove through the water is now stuck, as the driver was seen getting out of their trapped vehicle and climbing onto the roof of the car.
Drivers are urged to turn around and don’t drown.
