Cobb County detectives ask victims to speak out to aid in serial rapist investigation

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Detectives in Cobb County are asking women who may have been sexually assaulted to come forward to help with an ongoing serial rape investigation.

The investigation stems from an incident on Apr. 30, when Cobb County police arrested 22-year-old Jahmel Palmer after warrants revealed that he forcibly entered a woman’s apartment and raped, strangled, and kidnapped her.
