Three Democratic candidates vying for their party’s nomination to Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District will face off in the primary election June 2.

Former U.S. Army nurse Kathy Dolter, nonprofit founder Clint Twedt-Ball and chaplain and state Rep. Lindsay James have each pitched platforms based around affordability and challenging presidential overreach.
