COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities are investigating after a person was found dead while attempting to swim across Noonday Creek in Cobb County.
Police said officers responded around 10 p.m. May 24 to reports of an individual entering the creek and failing to resurface.
When officers arrived, they learned the person had been at a nearby park with family and friends before the incident. The exact location was not immediately released.
