LITHIA SPRINGS, Ga. — A fire damaged at least two apartment units and affected approximately 20 units at a Lithia Springs apartment complex early Thursday morning, according to Douglas County Fire & EMS.
Fire crews responded to reports of a fire at an apartment complex in the 400 block of Crossings Drive shortly before 3 a.m.
Officials said two to three people were being evaluated for possible injuries, though no hospital transports had been confirmed. Firefighters also attempted to rescue animals from the complex and everyone inside the building was able to evacuate on their own.
