Investigators in Fayette County warn of credit card skimmers in local stores targeting EBT card users, urging customers to inspect machines and monitor accounts
FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. — Investigators in Fayette County are warning residents about a scam going around involving credit card skimmers.
Multiple reports have come into to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office regarding skimmers being found in local stores. Since February, three card skimming devices have been found in Fayette County dollar stores.
