A woman has died after being stabbed on a MARTA train at Oakland City station. MARTA Police arrested a suspect and are investigating the violent incident.
ATLANTA — A woman is dead following a stabbing on a MARTA train at the Oakland City station.
At around 12 pm on Saturday, May 30th, MARTA Police patrolling the Oakland City Station responded to a report of a woman stabbed on a train.
Officers immediately located and arrested the suspect, and rendered aid to the victim. Despite lifesaving measures, the victim succumbed to her injuries on scene.
