ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department unveiled new uniforms on Thursday afternoon in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The updated design for officers’ outfits keeps the traditional dark blue base but now features a light-blue checkered pattern across the chest, sleeves, and pocket trim.
APD will debut the new look on Friday in Midtown and Downtown’s Zone 5 and at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. In 2026, more zones will follow
