Peabo Bryson ‘under medical care’ after stroke, rep says

The 75-year-old Grammy-award winning singer, songwriter has had many hits, including “If You’re Ever in My Arms Again” and “A Whole New World.”

WASHINGTON — Peabo Bryson, the R&B singer behind “Beauty & the Beast” and “A Whole New World,” had a stroke and is “under medical care,” his representatives told media outlets Sunday. 

“At this time, the family requests privacy as they navigate this deeply personal moment together. The thoughts, prayers and love of friends and fans are welcomed and deeply appreciated,” the representative told Variety
