COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — A Georgia Department of Transportation contractor was killed and another worker was injured on Thursday afternoon after the two were struck by a vehicle while working along Interstate 85 North, the College Park Police Department said.
Police said officers and fire rescue crews responded to the scene around 3:05 p.m. near Airport Loop Road after receiving reports of a fatality along the interstate.
