WASHINGTON — More than 320,000 solar-powered cameras are under recall after reports that the devices’ lithium-ion batteries can overheat, posing a risk of serious burns or fire.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall alert for the Wyze Solar Cam Pan security cameras following 13 consumer reports of the security cameras overheating and six reports of them exploding and catching fire, including six reports of minor burns from the incidents.
