Kennedy Center Board Seeks Court Ruling To Keep Donald Trump’s Name On Facade As It Appeals Judge’s Decision

UPDATED: The board of the Kennedy Center is seeking to halt a judge’s ruling to strip Donald Trump‘s from the arts institution, one day before a deadline to take the president’s name off the facade.

The motion for a stay was filed late on Thursday, with 24 hours left for the center to strip the president’s name off the facade and in any other references. Instead, a judge ruled last month that the center had to revert to its original name, the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts.

The center, represented by the Justice Department, stated
