Rochester, N.Y. — Police are investigating a stabbing on the city’s north side.
The Rochester Police Department said officers responded to the area of Clifford and Joseph avenues around 8:20 p.m. Sunday for a report of a possible stabbing and found a 42-year-old man suffering from an “apparent laceration.”
The man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

It was unclear what led to the stabbing. No suspects were in custody. Police said any “further pertinent information will be released at the conclusion of the investigation.”
