EXCLUSIVE: Sean Kaufman is in negotiations to star opposite Matt Damon in the the untitled event pic from filmmaking duo Daniels at Universal. Daniels, aka Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, will write and direct. Sandra Oh and Charles Melton are also on board.
Universal had no comment on the casting.
While Damon is essentially the lead of the film, sources say the younger ensemble the Daniels have been auditioning for the last several weeks will have equal footing in the film with Kaufman being the lead of that group.
