TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – As the one-year anniversary of the deadly 2025 Texas Hill Country flooding approaches, State Sen. Bryan Hughes, R-Mineola, sits down with Blake Holland for this week’s edition of East Texas Politics on East Texas Now.
Hughes served on the Texas Senate General Investigating Committee on the July 2025 flooding events. Lawmakers recently released a report focusing on Camp Mystic, where 28 people died in the floods.
