20th Century has landed the original epic Nue from director Takashi Yamazaki with Scott Free producing. Yamazaki will direct with Scott Free’s Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss producing, alongside Keiichiro Moriya and Go Abe from Robot Communications, and Toho-Tombo’s Georgina Pope. Amie Horiuchi will also serve in a producing capacity.
Plot details are being kept under wraps.
Yamazaki has been on Hollywood’s radar following the success of his global hit Godzilla Minus One, which was not only a box-office hit but was lauded by critics and went on to win a best visual effects Oscar.
