Denmark PM vows to defend Greenland after Trump revives push for U.S. control

Trump on Wednesday said the U.S. needs to control Greenland “for the protection of the world.” His comments come shortly after Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen pledged to defend “every inch” of NATO, including its own territory. The U.S. president had suggested that Washington could pull all of its troops out of Europe in response to the region’s continued pushback on the issue.
